"Burning Bright" is the third Two Fires album and the first one in a very long time. Why now? Two Fires - When it is time, it's time. Frontiers and I have a long term friendship. We both have to be ready and after speaking for several months about what we should do, we just did it. What kind of hopes and expectations do you have for "Burning Bright"? Two Fires - I am actively seeking air play and touring possibilities and gaining momentum. I am not one or never have been one to read and buy into what is written about my future or the future of my genre. I am a fan of melodic rock and I deliver what I want to listen and if it hits I am happy. If it misses, it is my own fault. I have no one else to blame but myself if it misses, but I am dead eye on the target this time... I feel it. If you were to single out one song from the album that is a favorite which one would it be and why? Two Fires - I can do it! I have tried. It took too long to write them and too long to record them to make that kind of choice. Many people have listened and none of them pick one over the other. Or if they do, no one will stay with their decision too long. I am gaining airplay in the states with All For One right now. Elections upon us and it is very political. So right now... that is my favorite hahaha. How does the final result compare to the idea you had going into the studio? Two Fires - I am happy and continue to write and record new ones even now. Next CD will not take as long as this one and the recipe is set. All I have to do is keep baking. What do you want to express with the artwork? Two Fires - I have two different covers. One for Euro and one for US. Us is very patriotic and I am very much wanting to make a statement in a field of no one wanting to do so. Two Fires - any deeper meaning behind the name? Two Fires - Actually, if you must know, when we chose the name, my friendship with Serafino became the best of both worlds. This has always been my solo CD's under a band title. SP & KC working together as Two Fires in one project. You are releasing this album on the Frontiers Records label, one of the leading melodic rock labels, if not the leading one. How did you hook up with them and do you see this as an advantage? Two Fires - Frontiers called me before they called any other American artist. I assisted them in acquiring many American artists (even if they deny it) :^) I am happy knowing they still see the value in my talent. So far so good. What does the words melodic rock mean to you? Two Fires - It is a melodic mix of vocal melody, musical melody, pop, rock, big production but mainly the gathering of like minded musical tastes. This is why I named my company Clique meaning a group of individuals all sharing the same taste in style and music and life. Name five albums that have made a big impact on today’s scene and you personally... Two Fires - The Beatles / Meet The Beatles, Journey / Infinity, Bad Company / Straight Shooter.
