with it?
Daniel - Yes, we are. For us it is a step forward. It was
worth to take our time to let the songs develop. I think we made
the best out of our song ideas!

the music of Freedom Call was an emotion, which one would it be?
Daniel
- Happiness.
What
bands inspire you to write music?
Daniel
- Music
in general, bands from all styles. Helloween had a big influence
on us!
What
is your favorite song on "The Circle Of Life" and why?
Daniel
- "Hero Nation" - great groove, progressiv
arrangement, goes through a lot of feelings.
Could
you explain the artwork for "The Circle Of Life"?
Daniel
- The
"Circle Of Life" is an ancient relict, the sun calendar
of the Celtic People. It fits perfectly to the title. In the
middle we added our zodiac signs and our bandlogo!
How
did you get your name Freedom Call?
Daniel
- The
name should be something positiv, something which reflects our
music. It was like so often, the same old story, two guys sitting
in a bar, drinking beer and doing brainstorming about their own
band and fooling around with several band names! I think it was me
who came up with the name!
Some
people call Freedom Call cheesy, how do you react to that
criticism?
Daniel
- I
never heard that somebody considers FC as cheesy. What do you mean
with cheesy?
With
so many Power Metal-bands releasing albums, don't you fear that
Freedom Call
might actually drown in that wave?
Daniel
- No
What
kind of music do you listen to at home?
Daniel
- I
listen to all kinds of music, whatever affects my heart. I depends
on the mood I'm in.
I
wonder, if you might make a all-time albums Top 5?
Daniel
- Don't
know, never thought about that! Maybe after another 15 albums
doing the same over and over again!
